GELANOTS is a revolutionary product of the Japanese company Toyota Tsusho.
It is a unique waterproof and breathable membrane, which is fundamentally different from the classic microporous membrane - it is non-porous and yet has excellent vapor permeability. Its uniqueness is hidden in the molecular structure of special polyurethane. There are relatively large gaps between its molecules and the forces acting between the PUR molecule and water are optimal for the vapor permeability function.
If steam condensation builds up under the clothing and a molecule of evaporated sweat gets close to the GELANOTS membrane, it is drawn in between the PUR molecules and becomes a temporary part of them, i.e. the membrane is hydrophilic. Thanks to the higher partial pressures of the saturated steam and the higher temperature inside the garment, the water vapor is continuously pushed to the outside of the membrane. In the case of classic microporous materials, when there is a large amount of evaporated steam, it starts to precipitate on the inner side of the membrane and their vapor permeability ends. However, the hydrophilic function of GELANOTS can even now draw condensed water molecules into its structure and excrete them on the outside of the garment. Unlike various coatings, the GELANOTS membrane we use is produced separately and connected to the top material during the last production operation (lamination). Thanks to this, it is flexible and can withstand longer-term stress.
Materials with a GELANOTS membrane are light, well maintain body temperature and comfort inside the garment. Therefore, active athletes claim that it is a second human skin.
We use branded YKK zippers for all jacket and pants models, which are recognized worldwide for their reliability and flawless function.

New improved Gelanots membrane with excellent waterproofing and breathability parameters. Thanks to the rapid development of the properties of the binder (glue) with which the membrane is laminated to the top fabric, the above-mentioned guaranteed values were achieved. Gelanotsu XP binder has reduced vapor resistance. Thanks to this, it is possible to make the membrane stronger, thereby increasing the value of waterproofness and breathability.
